Elisabeth Sciales is a 2022 graduate of The Center for Cartoon Studies and has recently moved from Montreal back to White River Junction, Vermont. She is originally from New Jersey and has been working on a long-form comic about the Jersey Shore. Her style is strongly influenced by mid-century American comics, and she is enthusiastic about comics history. She self-publishes mini comics and most recently completed an interview/recipe comic funded by the Museum of Jewish Montreal. She creates autobiographical comics, pantomime gag strips, recipe comics, as well as historical fiction and nonfiction, especially family stories.
